GDC does not accept returns on custom upholstery and fabric yardage. Custom upholstery is made to order for you and may take up to 12 weeks for delivery. For that reason, please make sure to measure all doorways to ensure your items will fit and be aware that upholstery dye lots may vary. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you need to match dye lots.
Items delivered via white glove service are returnable (excluding the above-mentioned custom merchandise). These items are eligible for full refund to original form of payment, less return shipping charges, within 7 days of receipt. One may incur a restocking fee of up to 10% of the purchase price.
FedEx/UPS shipped merchandise
Items delivered via FedEx/UPS are eligible for full refund to original form of payment, less return shipping charges, within 7 days of receipt.
How to Return
Please use the online return form associated with your order to alert us within 7 day of receipt. Please ensure all returns are packaged properly as GDC is not responsible for damages that occur in transit. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the item received is damaged, defective or incorrect. Return shipping charges may apply. Taxes charged are refunded in accordance with state and local laws. Returns sent via USPS that arrive with postage due will be returned to sender.
With an approved return form in hand, items purchased on GDC’s website may be physically returned to GDC Home at 1290 Sam Rittenberg Blvd., Charleston, SC. GDC will process website returns within 1 business day of receipt. Please be aware individual bank processing times may vary.
Furniture is carefully inspected prior to shipment, and we ask that you inspect your pieces upon receipt. For items received via White Glove Delivery, your signature is required at the time of delivery. If a defect is discovered at that point, the merchandise will go back with the white glove delivery service for inspection.
FedEx/UPS shipped merchandise
Please use the online return form associated with your order to alert us within 7 day of receipt. Replacements/restorations will be handled on a case by case basis. Please note that photos of merchandise and packaging may be requested.
Shipping varies depending on specific items and delivery zip code. Shipping will be calculated on the Checkout page. Estimated shipping costs per item are available when added to your cart.
Custom upholstery is made to order for you and right now is taking 30-40 weeks to ship from the manufacturer and is not returnable. Please note this does not include delivery times which can take an additional 4 weeks. If upholstery fabrics or frames are backordered, we will notify you ASAP with options to reselect or cancel your order.
In stock lighting & decor, bedding, rugs and tabletop ship from the manufacturer within 8-12 weeks.
In stock furniture and oversized accessories ship from the manufacturer within 12-20 weeks.
